DC intervention at the CEA

Preparation tasks:

• Check with QL if the missing QSFP cables were received
  • the cables have been delivered and are staged in the rack
• Prepare the ansible configuration for the new C06 server as far as possible as we don't known the disk ids yet
• Look at the procedure to configure the switchs (LACP for the active ones / Bootstrapping for the new ones / Spanning tree / VLAN configuration / ...)
• ?

List of task to perform on the 2 scheduled days:

• Check the current installation compared to what is declared in the inventory (server positions, wiring, ...)
• Upgrade bifur/bofur to latest compatible OS10 release
• Update the access switchs (bifur/bofur) configuration to use active/active LACP
• Install and configure the admin network of the C06 switchs
• Add the C06 switchs in the active network
• Check and finalize the C06 hardware installation
• Configure the ports of the C06 servers
• Install and configure the new OSDs in C06
• Move dwalin003 to the C06 rack and reconfigure switch ports
